Born in Petsamo, Murmansk region (Russia) in 1949.
Graduated from Moscow State University in 1980.
Since 1976 member of the Collective Actions (Kollektivnye Deystviya) group.
1981 - compiling of the first MANI (Moscow Archive of the New Art) folder
1980–1989 - compiling of the Trips to the Countryside (in Five Volumes) of the Collective Actions group.
1986–1990 - compiling of the Five Volumes of MANI (Moscow Archive of the New Art) folders.
Lives in Moscow.
