Description: Open Physics 1.0, parts 1 and 2, ©1996-2000, was developed and published by PHYSICON. Part 1 includes Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves. Part 2 includes Electricity, Optics and Atomic Physics. This program is complete multimedia course for high schools in Russia. It can be used for preparing for higher school entrance exams and for self-training. The course contains about 100 interactive computer simulations, 20 videos with physical experiments and 2 hours of audio tracks. The course provides an interactive learning and teaching environment. It can be used for lecture demonstration, lab activities, self-study. The program was certified by Russian Ministry of Education (certificate ¹0000026) and was awarded by set of prizes of Exhibitions, Conferences and Computer Press. There are Russian, English, Ukrainian versions on 1CD. Minimum technical requirements: Windows 3.1/95/98/NT, 386SX, 4MB RAM, CD-ROM, 5MB HD, sound card, SVGA 800x600, 16 colours (64Ź colours are recommended).
